PGM 04 | Changing Your Diet & Changing Your Life with Jessica Murnane

Dec 04 2014

This week we're talking with Jessica Murnane, of www.onepartplant.com. Jessica's story is awesome. It's a success story of a girl who struggled with her health and diet (she unabashedly admits that sour patch kids and diet coke were previously among her main food groups), fighting serious endometriosis and facing major surgery. But, and there's a big but, she never had the surgery. In the episode we talk about how she changed her life though her diet, and how she now runs a consulting business helping others make the same change. Her approach is great. She acknowledges that everyone has different needs, expectations, and goals. In her own words, "Changing your diet isn't just about the food, or the plant, it's about being a little more patient and positive with yourself as well." You'll love her approach, it's real, and accessible. Also, she just adopted a baby! She's wonderfully open about the process and shares what it was like and how she's adjusting to life with a baby. This week we're talking with Jessica Murnane, of One Part Plant. Jessica's story is awesome. It's a success story of a girl who struggled with her health and diet (she unabashedly admits that sour patch kids and diet coke were previously among her main food groups), fighting serious endometriosis and facing major surgery. But, and there's a big but, she never had the surgery. She made a half hearted effort to change to a plant based diet because of a friend's suggestion, and after feeling better much to her surprise, she cast all doubt aside and committed herself so completely she now runs a consulting business helping others make the same change. But she does it in a great, gentle way, acknowledging that everyone has different needs, expectations, and goals. In her own words, "Changing your diet isn't just about the food, or the plant, it's about being a little more patient and positive with yourself as well." You'll love her approach, it's real, and accessible.
