Nature | Trout is All

TEXT by Celine MacKay | PHOTOGRAPHS by There's just something about flyfishing I love. It's not something I have ever done, nor do I live in an area particularly conducive to it, but it's a pasttime I admire. There's a simplicity there and yet incredible technicality too. It feels so pure, and since the best flyfishing is usually in the heartland of untouched wilderness, there's a connectedness too. This video is shot in the most beautiful light, and whether you like to fish or not, simply watching the enjoyment against such a stunning backdrop will make you smile.

Beautiful Light and Flyfishing in Sweden

There's just something about flyfishing I love. If you like to eat fish, catching your own freshwater fish is probably one of the most sustainable ways to do it. Being connected to the process in my mind creates respect and in this way you take only what you need. This film was shot in Sweden at the upper Vindelälven river by Rolf Nylinder of Frontside Fly.
