In keeping with this volume's special feature on the night sky, and contributor Charles Nock's essay on light pollution, I couldn't help but prepare a post on the documentary film, The City Dark. The film, which happens to be the work of dear friends, takes a look at the effects of light pollution and the disappearing night sky. It's available for streaming on PBS POV until August 5th and for any of you star-gazers out there, it's definitely worth the watch.
